This Modern Couple Got Married With a Lebanese Zaffeh in Cambridge

As a photographer, there are some moments in a wedding that are truly unforgettable. The wedding of Maha and Joshua was one of those moments. It was a beautiful summer day in Ontario, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The Roseville Estate, with its stunning natural beauty, provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s big day.

When we arrived at the estate, we started with the getting ready photos of Joshua and his closest friends. They were in high spirits, excited for what was to come. As Joshua read the letter that Maha had written for him, you could see the emotion on his face. It was a beautiful moment, and one that we were lucky to capture.

Next, we met Maha in her room where she was getting ready with her side of the family and her bridesmaids. She was radiant, with a smile that lit up the room. As she read the love letter from Joshua, you could see the love and affection they had for each other. It was clear that this was a couple who truly belonged together.

The wedding ceremony was set up outdoors, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was shining, and a light breeze blew through the trees. As Maha walked down the aisle with her father, everyone was in awe of her beauty. It was a truly magical moment, one that we were honoured to capture.

After the ceremony, we took some of the most beautiful portraits around the venue. The Roseville Estate is full of natural beauty, and we took advantage of every opportunity to capture the love and joy of the couple.

The grand entrance was one of the most emotional moments of the wedding. Maha and Joshua entered the reception dancing with a Zaffeh. For those who may not know, a Zaffeh is a traditional Middle Eastern wedding procession that includes drums, horns, and other instruments. It is an important part of Middle Eastern culture, symbolizing joy and happiness.

As the party began, we took a photojournalistic approach to capturing the wedding. Our goal was to capture the party as it happened, without any planning or staging. We wanted to capture the authentic joy and happiness of the day, and we did just that.

The speeches by Maha’s sister and brother were some of the most touching we have ever heard. You could feel the love and affection from everyone attending the wedding. It was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do – to capture these special moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Overall, the wedding of Maha and Joshua was an unforgettable experience. From the stunning natural beauty of the Roseville Estate to the emotional moments throughout the day, it was a truly magical day. As a photographer, we feel honoured to have been a part of it, and we will cherish the memories of this beautiful couple and their special day forever.
