Yes, We are based in the beautiful Southwestern, Ontario. Me and my second photographer (my wife) will travel anywhere to photograph your wedding.
My photography style can be named wedding photojournalism, documentary wedding photography, or reportage wedding photography. Some wedding magazines described it as storytelling photography. You can find some examples of my style on my latest wedding page.
I aim to capture the story of your wedding day with natural, and candid images in authentic form. With me, you will remember your wedding in the way it actually was, and not in the way the photographer told you to look, pose or smile.
A month before your wedding we’ll meet to fill out a questionnaire and go through all the details and preparations you’ve made for your wedding day.
I have two professional cameras and three spare cameras as a backup as well. I’ll have my car fully-serviced, and a week before I’ll go through every single detail of your wedding with my wife’s help.
I use black and white to show emotions and sentimental images, and I believe colour is beautiful when it is part of the picture. I work with a balanced mixture of both types. However, is the story of your wedding we are telling here, please do not hesitate to contact me to talk about the big day.
Yes, I do take detail and group shots. I consider your thoughts and ideas an essential part of the final images we are going to create. I recommend keeping the number of group pictures to between four and six.
Yes, I have liability insurance and all my equipment insured. Please, always ask your photographer for full insurance.
After the wedding is over, the images we took are the only thing left that will remind you of the beautiful and perfect day you had. I’ll make sure your photographs are a reflection of that day. For this critical reason, I may take six weeks to deliver your pictures (often less). I’ll contact you with a link to your online gallery, or ask you to meet to hand-deliver your USB or photo album. I promise you it is worth the wait.
Yes, I am. Being a wedding photographer is my “job.” I’ve been using a camera for more than ten years now. Be assured that 100% of my time is dedicated to your wedding photographs.
